How Private Healthcare and Private Health Insurers Are Ruining Our Country

What if I told you that the healthcare system in America was so broken that the rich were able to get better care than the rest of the country? Worse still, what if I told you that this system was at least partially to blame for the high cost of healthcare in America? We’ve all heard about how Americans pay more than any other country on earth for their health insurance, but what many people don’t realize is that they also pay more because they are getting less.

Insurance Companies

BMIhealthcare is a private health insurer, owned by the Bupa Group, headquartered in London. BMIHealthcare offers private medical insurance to individuals and families in the UK. The company was founded in 1977 as Medical Insurance Services Limited but changed its name to BMI Healthcare Ltd. in 1984.

Bupa offers health insurance products to individuals, family members, and employers through individual policyholders; with over 11 million customers worldwide - making it one of the world's largest providers of healthcare coverage.

Doctors

The cost of health care in the United States is on the rise, with more and more people being pushed into bankruptcy as a result. Private healthcare providers are not really to blame for this because there is no way they can feasibly cover their costs given the state of affairs in our country's current healthcare industry. Private health Medibank is not immune either, as many citizens opt for private mental health care to avoid harsh public stigma. In general, we seem to lack clear leadership on how best to correct these problems and provide affordable coverage for all citizens. 

I say that neither private health Medibank nor private mental health care should bear responsibility if they only attempt to respond to market demands. People have been taught that illness or injury equals bad things that happen to other people, and until that mindset changes, you're never going to get rid of inflated costs related to medical assistance. Given my background working both in medicine and finance I know, there is also a genuine problem with intellectual barriers caused by a lack of training on basic business operations among most doctors today, but I will let smarter people than me tackle those complex issues!

Hospitals

Axa private healthcare is a company that provides insurance to hospitals. Hospitals are required by law to provide emergency care regardless of their patient's ability to pay, but other than that, the only patients they see are those who can afford it. The result? More people are without medical coverage—which in turn leads to higher healthcare costs for those who do have it. It's a vicious cycle that's been going on for years, but the Axa private healthcare company is still making billions of dollars every year. Worse yet, at least 30% of all privately insured Americans have no choice but to use an Axa private healthcare-owned hospital or clinic as their primary care provider.

Prescription Drugs

What is the biggest factor in America's deterioration into a 'third-world country? The answer may surprise you. In many ways, we've been failing on a long-term basis due to our refusal to make medical care accessible to all Americans. The Affordable Care Act was not enough to fix the problem, as private healthcare near me was not only difficult for millions of Americans to afford but also impossible for millions more to even find coverage. It's unacceptable that so many people in the United States are living without access to basic medical care due to one's salary or zip code. Imagine how much better this country would be if we had universal healthcare!

Medicare/Medicaid

But in recent years, many of those with government-funded Medicare have transitioned to buying private healthcare. Why? Because it doesn't take into account preexisting conditions like asthma, diabetes, cancer, etc. That's right – they offer less coverage than what people are used to and then try to convince you that Bupa private healthcare is superior because they don't ask any questions.
